Privacy & Data
Your data is yours.
By Juhyun Nam · Updated 14 September 2026
snowscroll is built so your logins and everything you do inside the social platforms never leave your device.
Your logins stay on your device
You sign in to each platform directly, inside snowscroll's browser, exactly as you would in Safari. We never see, store, or transmit your usernames, passwords, or login info. Your session stays on your device.
We don't watch what you do
snowscroll never tracks or records your browsing, your messages, or anything you do inside the social platforms. There are no analytics SDKs and no behavioral tracking. What you do is yours alone.
No account required
There's no snowscroll account. We never ask for your name, email, or phone number. The app uses a random, anonymous identifier on your device. It isn't tied to who you are, and it's only used to manage your subscription and referrals.
No ads. No data sales. Ever.
We make money from Pro subscriptions, not from your data. We don't run ads, and we never sell or share your information. Your privacy is the product, not the price. (Subscriptions are handled by Apple and RevenueCat. What leaves your device is your purchase, an anonymous ID and referral code, and those anonymous setup events. Never your social activity.)
Why we ask for Screen Time
Setup asks for Screen Time permission so the shield can notice when you tap a supported app out of habit and open it inside snowscroll with the feeds gone. That is the only thing it is used for. We never read your Screen Time statistics, never see how long you spent in an app, and never send a Screen Time number anywhere. (You can withdraw the permission in iOS Settings at any time. The shield stops, the rest of the app keeps working.)
